I'll be there for DND, but as far as sticking around for the main entree...I doubt that I will.

De Novo Dahl was awesome as ever! I wasn't going to stay for IATWTC, but was talked into it. I don't usually like that style of music, but they were actually pretty good. It was just fun, dancy stuff.

DND played a great show, it sounded superb. I think they should dress tastefully like that more often. Did it ever fill back up for IATWTC? Or, did it just stay half-full after DND played? It would be cool if the majority were just there to see DND.

Yeah, it was pretty empty for IATWTC. Most of the crowd was definitely there to see DND.
That may have been the best I've ever seen De Novo Dahl play.

Great Show, DND. I love you more and more each time I see you!
By the way, does anyone know what the costumes were representative of? I heard someone in the crowd yell out that it reminded him of Eyes Wide Shut, but I doubt this is really what they were aiming for.

I completely agree.
I really want them to play their new songs sometime soon. I think they played them in Johnson City. I've heard rough versions of some and they are really good.
Also, Joel's new guitar has really improved a few songs, namely "Cowboy & the Frenchman" and "Listen Up."
And finally, it was really nice to meet Tom Foolery. But, with a name like that, I'm not sure if it was him or not.

I can assure you that it was.
I didn't stick around for WTC. Everyone I've talked to says they're not so great, but I haven't heard anyone describe the music they play. Can anyone fill me in?

TF:
IATWTC is electronic dance music. Think Venus Hum, but less dynamic. I'm sure those apt to use the term would call it "IDM."
They did a cover of New Order's "Bizarre Love Triangle."

I remember the first time I heard of this group because the eleventh song on their first album was called "September," and they were on the news and stuff. I don't really like them, personally.

i enjoyed iatwtc. i liked them a lot more than venus hum. they were very nice. i enjoyed dancing to their tunes. they seemed like they just like to have fun and take it all too serious.
the new dnd songs will be together soon. we tried a new strategy of writing on this bunch. we decided to start 6 songs all at once so we could work on different things depending on how we felt on any given night. this proved to be be very inefficient. we have 6 nearly finished songs, so i believe we will go back now and finish them one at a time.
thank you all for coming to the show. i had no idea that opinions were already low of trade center. i feel bad that so many of you paid just to see us, but i suppose we are flattered. thanx
