As we discussed, Friday and (especially) Monday look quite "stacked". I feel sorry for jetpack. Who are those other bands?

Ah man, this kicks ass. Is Adam McIntyre the guy who writes and sings for 9 Point Landing? The music's not my style really (at all), but he's generated quite a buzz in the adult contemporary genre. Of course, this may not be him, but if it is, I'll go because I'm interested to see if he's developed his stage presence yet. And, he's from the G-Town, so I gotta represent. Please correct me if it isn't him.

Needless to say, I'll be there for De Novo Dahl on Friday as well. The Monday night show is almost completely kickass. Two doses of Keith in one night?! The End might need to cart in some oxygen tanks for the ladies, and a nitrous tank for me and Powder P.

Well lucky for you, The Keith is going to spread it over two nights now. Verde has been moved to the Saturday night slot replacing Jetpack who had a scheduling conflict. So now you can see me on Saturday and Monday and hopefully that won't be too much to handle.

I was just trying to look out for the lovely ladies. I still want the nitrous tank.

I no longer feel sorry for jetpack. I feel sorry for verde.

Swan Dive is pretty cool, and frankly is more similar to Verde than Hot Pipes or The Privates. It's also Saturday night, which is cool.

I've been talking WAY too much about my own bands on here lately. I think I've been hanging out with De Novo Joel too much.

Don't get me wrong-- I'll be there no matter what. I'm in desperate need of my Verde fix!

Adam McIntyre plays power pop. He played for The Shazam for about a year but then they let him go and he's never really gotten over it. His other band was Superhype.

i had a recording of their last show back in the napster days. valerie loves me was eerie as hell on that.

That's just a creepy little tune all around... but all of their songs have a weird bend to them. His suicide was no surprise.

All the bands I would see are on different nights. With that, the cost, and the short time slots, I think I'll pass on the whole thing.

The official website lists each show as being $2 more per show. I hope Keith's info is more accurate.

According to the website, "There are no advance tickets to any of the shows.
Tickets are only sold at the door, on the day of the particular showcase." Personally, I think that is a really bad move, but I'm not in charge.

Either way, I think Friday looks like a really good line-up, but I'm going to be out of town. Excuse my bias, but I think Monday night looks really good as well.
