so ceeze and i are listening to some good mid-nineties pop alterna-rock which made me think, i enjoyed korn's first album at the time, but if i could go back and kill them i would for the future of rock music.

Wow. So true. I also loved that album at the time, but if you look at the last 7-8 years of popular rock music, Korn kind of was the turning point. One hundred bands took the worst elements of that album and ran with them.
Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.

I still listen to this album. In fact, I think I listened to it last week. Everything after that was shit.

i actually decided to put that album in today after talking about it, it is still pretty good. but would i trade it for a world without limp bizkit, the simple answer is yes. and can anyone tell me which member of the who let fred durst cover "behind blue eyes" i'm still pissed at that

You don't have to get permission from anyone to cover a song, as long as you credit the original songwriters.

I think Limp Bizkit is over. Didn't their latest album like, totally fail?

I didn't realize that. And if they are gone, then the radio and mtv don't know it, of course mtv and the radio don't have a lot of credibility.
