Anyone else know Modest Mouse was coming to Vandy? Ticketmaster just sent me an email. Who's willing to bet they sell out?

have they "sold out" because they've altered their music to make it more popular? Or have they "sold out" because their music has simply gained popularity?

It's a genuine question, I'll be the first to say I know nothing about Modest Mouse beyond "Float On".

Yes. I also know that student tickets are $10 and they're allowed to buy up to 4 tickets for their friends at $17 a pop.

And no, I'm not going.

I don't know anything about them at all, either. I just thought that the phrasing was funny.

To answer your question, I wouldn't say they've sold out. I like most of their earlier stuff... The Moon and Antarctica was really good. I think this new album is my favourite of anything they've done.
