I'm not the biggest fan of Pete Doherty. The Libs were alright, but Im not keen on his more recent stuff. I dont think he deserves this iconic cult status he's been given.
His fame mostly comes from herion addiction and petty crime (i.e Carl's flat). Oh, and pulling Kate Moss. I think they'll be great together- she was a bit of a junkie in her time as well.

crikey.. not alot of love for pete then.. i think the libertines were amazing, and that shambles are doing good too.. give pete a chance, hes a genius who is somewhat misguided..

It's NME's fault that Pete is a love/hate figure, he must appear on nearly half the pages of every edition. The broadcast of his personal life on a weekly basis is becoming boring. He'll be soon forgotten when NME find someone else they think teens can idolise.

I like the Libertines and I think Pete is very talented. Shame he is in such a mess, I reckon he'll be dead soon.
