Well, in that case, I'm kinda glad I didn't bother getting tickets for Atlanta. How convenient!

for some reason i never really got into the pixies. maybe i heard the wrong things or whatever, but i saw them for the first time at coachella and they totally blew me away...i mean, they weren't the best thing i saw or anything and i only recognized a couple of the songs, but i was really impressed by them...they were also, er, highly visible, even from as far away from the stage as we were...kim deal looked as if she was up to two or three spins herself--it looked as if she may have eaten the breeders. i figured they'd be old and couldn't cut it anymore, but i can't imagine them sounding much better back then than they do now...i suppose they may have looked better, though.
