I've been meaning to get a Sebadoh album (based on a recommendation). I am interested in going to this show.

Yes, good news indeed. I'm there. Although I have a nagging suspicion that Sebadoh might get filed under "washed up" after this show. I guess we'll see.

I was underimpressed with Jason Loewenstein at the Red Rose a while back. I would still be interested in this though.

I saw Lou Barlow solo at 3rd and Lindsley a few years ago and was not impressed. Maybe he'll be better with the rest of the band.

I saw him at Slow Bar as Sentridoh, but it was a pretty off night for him (he was sick and getting heckled by some assholes). I still thought it was pretty good.

Does anyone here think that JL's songs are better than LB's? I wish we could get a 100% LB show.

Give the man a soda! I fully agree ... especially on bubble and scrape/bakesale/ and harmacy ... Lowenstein's songs have always been my favorite tracks on those albums. "Not Too Amused," "Happily Divided," "Prince-S" etc etc ...

I've seen Sebadoh as a band three times. The first time ... kinda sucked. They played at an old laser tag arena in Louisville in like 94... they were obviously tired and high and onlt played for 40 minutes (babies.) The second time I saw them was in Columbus, Ohio with Rodan in 96 on the bakesale tour. They RAWKED hard.... I hope it will be like that show. The third time was the Harmacy tour and was almost as good as the second. So, seeing them again will be a treat.

Muck, actually I think Carl was saying he liked LB's songs better since he wanted a 100% LB show. I like some of Lowenstein's stuff. Prince-S and Nothing Like You are two of my favs of his off Harmacy. But too often his songs come off as too off-putting and are barely, in many instances, much of songs to begin with.

Yeah, I guess I wasn't clear. Jason's songs are shite. Lou's song are much better. Thanks, Brian.

Nah ....I mean .... I love Lou and all ... but his songs get old after a while ... sorry, I guess we're born to disagree Carl.

Well, I still will offer anyone Sebadoh amnesity if they want ... I know it's rather dated and all.....
