TOPIC: The Cure

a new record from one of world's greatest bands will be released June 22nd. now...i'm wondering if this is just a rumor. i read it on pitchfork earlier. anyone have any thoughts? i'm excited.
We have about 1500 songs.....all of them good!

maybe this one will be a greatest hits compliation from their 3 or 4 other greatest hits compliations. (im excited too)

Yeah it should be cool. I can't wait to see what Ross Robinson added as producer. They'll be on Leno thursday night, too.

smee....you disapoint me......what was it about bloodflowers did everyone not like? i thought it was great record. very colorful with alot of intricate arrangements. very emotional moments.

i was never a big fan of wild mood swings though.......
We have about 1500 songs.....all of them good!

wild mood swings definitely my least favorite album. and i can still only listen to wish when i am in a certain mood, but every other album is stellar

bloodflowers just lacked any songs that made me go "wow, what a fantastic cure song!" a lot of the songs sounded the same to me. i've been listening to the cure for close to 18 years, and while i thought "wish" was great, "wild mood swings" and "bloodflowers" qualified as mediocre albums in my book.
