TOPIC: The Early Evening

So I went to see a band tonight at the Exit/In called the Early Evening. My lil sister reccomended them, which is not necissarily a good thing. But anyway, she felt strongly about it, so I went. There is a list of reasons as long as your arm why you probably wouldn't like this band. We could start with: they're from Belmont. And then we could move on to: they're kind of a jam band (in fact, for the two or three of you that can appreciate this, I was overwhelmingly reminded of Phish circa 1991 or so - less hippy and more dorky).

Nevertheless, I really did find myself enjoying their music. I am such a sucker for quirky pop music with lots of harmonies, especially when there's piano involved. Who knows, I might even see them again. But probably not.

I don't suppose I'm looking for any kind of response to this. I'm just putting it out there for anyone that might benefit from this information.

I have Ben wondering about these guys for awhile, actually. You did me a service, so I'm Patton you on the back.

I may venture out to see them. I, too, am a sucker for pianos. The jam band influences did kind of put me off about them, though. I don't have a problem with jam bands, but I reeeally don't like Phish.
