the hotpipes are playing tuesday night at mercy lounge. i haven't seen them play since 2NMC so i'm really excited to see them again. i'm pretty sure the show is free. is anyone else going?

I may have to. the first time I saw them I had a "Holy Shit" moment like I did with the Features. In fact, I drug His Exaltedness out to take a look at them where they proceeded to be mediocre at best. I saw them them again where they totally rocked. Hopefully that one night was a one off event. I dig me some Rattle Cats.

yeah.... i think they're great. i saw them when DND played sunday night live at 3rd and lindsley in march/april, but i don't think i remembered much about them.... then i saw them a couple more times, and i think their best show was the music conference. they were awesome that night. i'm very excited. and it's free... that's wonderful...

i have their heroes and villians cd, but it always skips in my CD player. maybe i can get another one tomorrow night.
i am also a huge rattle cats fan.

I saw this, too. Plus, IBL is playing tomorrow night. I really wish they were opening up for the Features instead of playing in Nashville. It would be good to hear Verde's new stuff played live, too. Maybe this post should've gone under the ideal local show thread (for now).
