I saw the Pink Spiders when they opened for the Privates in December. I'll be honest, I kind of enjoyed them (I would say that I liked them 1/4 of a whole), but I would never go to a show just to see them. I did not know of this supposed "asshole shit" that they pulled. Thus, my jury is still out and will probably render a negative verdict.

As for these supposed "skanks" at Cafe Coco...I don't know Sina, I've been there a few times, yet have not found any of these skanks. That is, unless you mean skanks as in they "dress poorly", are "overly emotional", or "aren't very hot." If you mean it in that regard, then I totally agree. Or, maybe I was the skank...

well the asshole shit is sort of a long story but basically they were supposed to be support a friends band of mine on tour when their (the pink spider's) mishaps got the show cancelled and then they left all of their gear for the other band to take home.
when the other band called the pink spiders to come pick up their stuff from a storage unit because it wouldnt fit in their van, members of the pink spiders told them basically they would sell all of their stuff (members of the two bands live together).

trust me, it was a much more interesting story as it was happening.

eh, maybe not.

they still suck.

The funny thing about that story is it was Pink Spiders' singer Matt (formerly of Silent Friction) that threw the cymbal, and the victim was also a former member of Silent Friction. I don't think he purposely hit him though.

Matt probably still reads this, so he can feel free to correct me if my facts are wrong.
