TOPIC: Upcoming Shows

There are a few decent shows coming up at the Exit/In in the next couple of weeks. I'm not sure what the deal is b/c a couple of the shows have not been promoted or even mentioned in the "Upcoming Shows" section on the Rage. Just thought I would mention in case anyone was interested:

Oct. 31-IBL/Baby Stout. Everone already knows about this but the site says it's only $3 if you bring an old coat.

Nov. 2- Flickerstick (my ultimate guilty pleasure)

Nov. 6- Nada Surf

Nov. 9- The Jayhawks (this is the one i was referring to as not being promoted)

Nov. 10- Starlight Mints

Dec. 17- Rocket from the Tombs

I assume this is a donation thing and not a vintage fashion show?

that's weird that the jayhawks haven't been promoted...

Me, too. Not to mention the Creeping Cruds and Cattle Decapitation.

Is Green Rode Shotgun still playing the Halloween show? There's some nice competition for De Novo Dahl.

And where's the love for DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE???

Carl, you should know that I love them very much. But there was already a thread about the DCFC show so I figured most who were interested already knew about it.

when is the death cab show? i want to see them again, this time after having listened to them a bit. the starlight mints and nadasurf would be nice as well.

does anybody know when badly drawn boy is playing in nashville? i read about it somewhere, but it escapes me at the moment. i'm probably the only person interested in it, though.
We'll miss you Mr. Hooper.

DC is this Saturday night and tickets are $14 on the night of the show. I plan on getting my ticket early though( for $12).

The BDB show is Nov. 13.

A friend has been trying to talk me into this one. I think I'll go. It's at the Belcourt Theater.

I got tix tonight for myself and BrianW. They were $16 a piece with ass-rapage charges. Keep in mind, their last show there sold out-- and that was before The Postal Service was such a sensation making Ben Gibbard much better-known.
