that's nice to hear. i'm very excited. i believe the release date is august 23rd in the US, correct? but if i can scrounge up the money for a UK copy i may just have to do it. sounds like it'll be worth it.

I am really looking forward to this and am glad to hear that people are pleased with it. I am pissed that I will be missing them in Atl in October. Anyone going?

granted i've only listened to it 2X...but i don't really like this album at all. they will never top 'internal wrangler'. since it's one of my top-10 albums of all time, i guess i just have high standards for the band, but they've certainly regressed in the past few years.

granted i've only listened to it 2X...but i don't really like this album at all. they will never top 'internal wrangler'. since it's one of my top-10 albums of all time, i guess i just have high standards for the band, but they've certainly regressed in the past few years.

i didn't expect them to do better than internal wrangler. not even come close. and after 165435416 listens, i'm satisfied.

i haven't heard this new thing yet, but i do know this: Internal Wrangler was brilliant, ace, fantastic--and Walking With Thee was underwhelming and marginal at best. so if it's anything like WWT, i won't bother with it.

This album sucks. IW is an all-time favorite, Walking was a little dissapointing, and Winchester Cathedral just seems sad. It's like they're not even trying anymore.

You know you have problems, with both money and alcohol, when you find yourself shoving beers down your pants outside a Features show.
