I thought she was supposed to get a minimum of 10 months. What happened?

i've always rather liked martha stewart for some reason, so i don't like the fact that she's even going to jail...she's not a criminal--she did a stupid thing, but they should just fine her bigtime and put her under house arrest for a year or something. maybe make her wear shorts with argyle socks in public...on a somewhat lighter note, i can't wait to see how she decorates her cell.

I've never liked her, but I respect her. I feel bad for her. Total witch-hunt...it was a bunch of people ganging up on the idea of the "perfect woman" that they all hated in high school.

She shouldn't have done it, but still. It sucks.

If someone told me I was about to lose $60,000, I would've done it. I'm sure that kind of thing goes on all the time, but because Martha likes to make dog-kerchiefs out of $3,000 antique table cloths, they were determined to send her ass to jail.

You can't give up hope just because it's hopeless. That's when you have to hope even harder, and stick your fingers in your ears and go "la la laaah!"

and I agree with your statement about her not deserving jail time. True, she hasn't served a day yet, but still. There are dozens of celebrities that have done worse and not seen a day of prizon life.
