Anyone else been listening to this?? It launched today and you can stream it at www.airamericaradio.com. It's super cool. Al Franken's show is really good. Right now, Jeanene Garafalo's (sp?) show is on. Chuck D's show starts tomorrow at 10, I think. What a cool network!

it's too fitting that a liberal radio network has celebrities as hosts

Actually, they're really smart and know their stuff. They're all some of the more famous people I admire (esp. Chuck D.)

well, for the record, I wasn't implying that they aren't smart. I just found it a bit funny. sorry for the confusion.

i tuned in for a little bit yesterday -- the host lady was ranting about bush's decision to go to the elementary school classroom 15 minutes after the first plane hit the wtc. she said bush thought the pilot 'accidentally' hit the building and didn't see it as any sort of terrorist attack at first.

i want to try to catch al franken's show today.

I'm in heaven with this show. Randi Rhodes kicks ass (no, not the deceased guitarist for Ozzy). My only gripe is that the shows are too long. I wrote the director of production at the time when this was Anshell Media and asked who they were going to feature on the show. She said they hadn't spoken with anyone yet and so I recommended contacting Al Franken, Michael Moore, Janeane Garofalo, and Jello Biafra. Interesting that 2 of those got there own shows, although I can't say that it was my suggestion that was followed up on. My number one suggestion wasn't contacted though and I think he would do an amazing job...and that would be Mr. Henry Rollins. What's that about liberals (I prefer the term progressives) being whiny, spineless weaklings? Give Mr. Rollins the air and see what he can do.

That'd be awesome. I'll send a suggestion e-mail, too...

I think the shows' lengths will trim down when they get more programming.
