I found this part most interesting:

"Quote"
A well-placed source says that the president will “most likely” drop Dick Cheney from his re-election ticket and his first choice for a replacement in hopes of getting back some popularity is a very loved and recognized face in the Republican crowd, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani.

“The issue of Cheney’s health will probably be given as the reason,” says the insider. "Another possible reason is that he will probably need to devote all of his time to spending his money after getting all of that Iraqi oil."

I'm pretty sure he'll drop Cheney, but it won't be Guliani, it'll be Condoleezza Rice.
Bill, it was a different time. It was back when we didn't know the Russians were incompetent.

I've heard that before. But I really don't think that'll happen.

Wouldn't it just scramble the Democrats' eggs if it did, though?

Ralph Nader.

For real, though, it seems like a Catch-22 for Bush. Dropping Cheney does cleanse Bush of some of Cheney's nastiness, but it also would seem to be admitting failure as a duo/administration. I think Guiliani could be elected himself if he wanted- exploitation of 9/11 far beyond the Bush ad.

and while issues should be the deciding matter, a lot of voters will vote for the bush/rice ticket merely because she is black. there is no doubt about that.

I think Bush ditching Cheney would be good for his chances considering what an obviously crooked, criminal, deviant, Dr. No piece of shit he is. And bringing in Juliani would be consistent with his already thwarted attempts to mine the tragedy of 9/11 for political gain. And Condi Rice is an uncle tom.

Because she doesn't toe the "black" party line? Because she has different opinions than black Americans are "supposed" to have?

Why don't you send her an e-mail and tell her how she should be thinking and acting as an African American woman.

Yeah, she totally confuses my racial stereotypes, what with all the oil, money, power, etc. She's not acting the way she's supposed to goddamnit. Why isn't she pissing and moaning about racial inequality like all those other hapless negros? Why doesn't she communicate in press interviews via cleverly concocted raps dropped over mad beats? Some people you just have to love for their sheer audacity (and those legs...damn!). The charming Ms. Coulter spoke at Northwestern a few months ago and her argument for racial profiling at airports was as follows (I swear I lifted this straight out of our school paper):

"When there's a 100 percent chance, it ceases to be a profile--it becomes a suspect description," Coulter said. "They all have the same hair color, eye color. They're all males. Half of them have the name Muhammad."

this is just gross. i read a column of mrs. coulter's ("don't just profile: deport" - it's on her website, anncoulter.com, where you can also buy an ann coulter talking barbie doll) where she said "everyone is profiling now anyway. no one talks about it, which allows liberals the luxury of ritualistically denouncing racial profiling. ordinary americans aren't going to die for political correctness."

i'm sure i'm preaching to the choir here, but how disgusting. i mean, everyone is profiling, so come on, let's all make racist assumptions! when my parents and i flew back from italy over christmas, my father was stopped and searched. italian name, large nose, they found cannolis in his carry on...must be mob. what else could we profile for?

was there a q&a section when she spoke at northwestern? wht did people say to her?

I'm prolly going to piss a whole bunch of people on here off when I say this, but this board needs some excitement anyway.

I think she's right. Maybe not 100% correct or even polite in how she presents her ideas. Referring to a group of people as "them" is hardly PC. Heck, it isn't even remotely nice, but think about it. I have yet to see any terrorists that were not foreign. Granted we have our own share of crazy, American-born citizens that like to chop people up and eat them, but none that have flown planes into our buildings just because they hate America in general. Are all foreigners terrorists? Of course not. Most of them are great people who come here for a number of innocent, admirable reasons. But if you make me check lets say 25% of all passengers on a plane and I have to pick which ones I think could be terrorists, Of course I'm going to be more concerned about the foreigners.

Its kinda like when police look for rape suspects. I'm sure they don't go after the lady's son first. They look for people who aren't going to have many emotional ties to the victim.

very true. Those two peope would fall into the crazy Americans category. Their ideas were not widespread and they didn't lead groups of Americans to their way of thinking.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that there are a ton of known terrorist organizations still operating that want to attack th U.S. All of these organizations are based outside of America. therefore, I'd be willing to bet there are far more foreigners that would like to kill us than fellow Americans.

Actually a large portion of rape victims are assualted by people they know, just like a child is more likely to be molested by a family member or family friend. It is hard to put a good percentage on this, mainly because a lot of these aquaintance rapes go unreported.

As for crazy Americans leading rather large groups of other Americans down a trail of infamy.... the Manson Family, Jonestown, The Branch Davidians....

And someone needs to start profiling blonde middle aged women based solely on this comment: "We need to execute people like John Walker in order to physically intimidate liberals, by making them realize that they can be killed too. Otherwise they will turn out to be outright traitors."

I dunno who made the comment about executing liberals, but if it was the same lady, I definitely don't agree w/that.
Good guess. Read some more of Miss Coulter's asinine remarks and tell me she isn't utterly insane.

indeed. the most assanine part of ann coulter's comments are when she decides she can be as base as to call all democrat women "ugly dogs" and ridicule senate members for their wardrobe.

More quotes from Ann:

"Then about a month ago (December 2003), the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press released a poll showing that people who regularly attend religious services supported Bush 63 percent to 37 percent, and those who never attend religious services opposed him 62 percent to 38 percent. When you exclude blacks (as they do in Vermont), who are overwhelmingly Baptist and overwhelmingly Democratic, and rerun the numbers, basically any white person who believes in God is a Republican.

The only Democrats who go to church regularly are the ones who plan to run for president someday and are preparing in advance to fake a belief in God."

You've got to be kidding me...lol, I've heard of her before, but never gave her any attention whatsoever. If these quotes aren't jokes, how doe she ever get on T.V. making such uneducated remarks?

Some people you just have to love for their sheer audacity (and those legs...damn!). The charming Ms. Coulter spoke at Northwestern a few months ago and her argument for racial profiling at airports was as follows (I swear I lifted this straight out of our school paper):

"When there's a 100 percent chance, it ceases to be a profile--it becomes a suspect description," Coulter said. "They all have the same hair color, eye color. They're all males. Half of them have the name Muhammad."
I remember reading that and just being glad I didn't go.

She really is amazing though, in that this-has-to-be-a-dream-this-can't-possibly-be-real sense. The most outlandish person in a long time.

Their ideas were not widespread and they didn't lead groups of Americans to their way of thinking.
Kazinsky seemed to work alone, but didn't McVeigh have followers (that makes it seem cultish, I simply mean a group that he worked with and led).

Regardless, domestic terrorism is nothing to turn a blind eye to, and foreign terrorism certainly doesn't justify the way that countless US citizens are having their basic rights taken away because their ancestors weren't from Europe.
