This may honestly be the most disturbing thing I've ever read. And I've read a lot of disturbing things. What do you think was in it for the victim? Money for his family?

I wonder what the euthanasia laws are in Germany. Do you have to be terminally ill for assited suicide to be considered euthanasia?

There could be nothing in it for the victim other than kicks...I was reading somewhere else where the man described it as "a religious experience." That got me to thinking, what is communion? You're eating the body and blood of Christ....lots of pet names are "pumpkin" and "sugar", and you say to cute kids that you could just eat them up. Lots of fairy tales are about cannibalism, it's a freaky part of human nature that I don't like to think about....but apparantly do.

That's freaky, but it's kind of interesting too. There are alot of fucked up people. Maybe agreed upon cannibalism is OK? sort of. I mean, if we think about it, eating another human really isnt that big of a deal, its flesh, we devour flesh everyday. I think it may be part of our instinctual nature to keep our 'species' alive that we believe eating humans is so wrong. I personally wouldnt want to eat anyone. But what if it's agreed upon. why can a person not have the right to eat what he wants if all parties agree? And if we really want to think hard on the subject, we all eat flesh everyday. Humans are constantly replacing our cells at an outstanding rate per second. The dust in a bedroom is made up mostly of our flesh. We ingest our flesh and others without even knowing it on a day to day basis. Dust in the air, dust landing on our food, etc. Damn Cannibals.

My great-grandpa was in the Japanese army when they were occupying China, and there was this one restraunt where the Japanese soldiers used to love to eat, because the meat was so tender and delicious. Later, they found some bones and ID tags of missing Japanese soldiers buried out back...I think you can guess the conclusion they arrived at.

Anyway, I don't like the idea of cannabalism, but that probably stems from the fact that I don't want to get eaten. I guess mutually agreed upon cannabalism would be alright, but that group of people sure would die out fast.

LOL Yeah, I'm a quarter Japanese. But we've lived with my grandparents (including the grandmother who's Japanese) for the past eight years, so I have been completely submersed in a lot of the customs. Like I can't fathom walking into the house with my shoes on. Does that count enough for you?

This thread has resurfaced a question that I have pondered for years... what would human flesh taste like? I think probably pork.... I'm not really sure why.

Any thoughts?

I think, due to the millions of pounds (or whatever), of sugar that we now eat these days, that human flesh might taste like skittles or something sweet.

Now everyone's on the protein kick, though, we might actually taste like pork. Which is why I could never be a cannibal.

But there's that whole "corn-fed, Iowa angus beef" thing. So apparently what you eat, where you were raised, and your ethnicity effect your taste. Which is just really odd, and seems unConstitutional somehow. But I guess if we start eating people, we kind of already threw out human rights.

oh it does, most definitely. the reason i buy organic milk and eggs is bc the animals are raised without hormones or stimulants and they taste 10x better.
meat is affected the same way, i promise. ive read some scary shit in fast food nation.
also, i know its not meat, and not to be gross, but seriously, what your nether-regions taste like is HIGHLY affected by the food he/ she eats.

im not sure about this one, but a friend of mine tells me that vegetarian women taste better.
