and my beloved ST. LOUIS CARDINALS have pushed to a Game Seven in their series with the Houston Astros! Both leagues are in a Game 7! This is insane! Maybe this really is the armageddon.

What the FUCK is Francona thinking putting Pedro in this game?!! Seriously! Derek Lowe is having a career performance and the Yankees can't do a thing against him. So you want to pull him and put in the ONE guy who instantly gets the crowd back into the game?!! And even better - he just pitched 6 innings two days ago! And what do the Yankees do? They light him up like a Christmas tree! Unbelievable! I hope the Sox can hang on...

RD, I'm sorry your Cards aren't going to be "the story" in this year's World Series. Yes, I do think they're going.

I sure hope that they go, JC. It would be a highlight of my baseball-watching years. The World Series would have a very traditional feel. Any way you slice it, an exciting World Series is going to take place. This is a great year for baseball.

I was discussing this with Ceeze actually, and I agree that lowe should have stayed in the game, but i think Pedro probably wanted a crack at the yanks, and by god, he may have gotten lit up by the first two batters, but he was looking sharp by the end of the inning, i mean i haven't seen him throw a 96 mph fastball all season.

Sometime's I'm thinking that I love you, but I know it's only lust.
