In case you hadn't noticed, the new site for The Features has launched. So, please, before proceeding onward - check out www.thefeatures.com.
That being said, I hope everyone enjoys it. I've received some good feedback so far (and some noted not-100%-postive feedback) but if anyone encounters any problems, please let me know so I can attempt to fix it - or at least explain why things are the way they are.
The Press section is getting close to being finished. Once I've got all the new articles transcribed I will make it active on the site.. however, the library of reviews is not going to consist of everything that comes out. It's a selective works, so if you all want to keep up with any sort of press you find here on the message board you'll have a more complete idea of what's being said about the album and the band.
There are a few other additions slated for the site as well:
1) rotation of the secondary banner - not that anyone here is overly concerned with the banners, but it's a nice way to get key promotional idea's out there. Among these banners will be a link to the flash player that Universal developed - hopefully that makes up for the lack of embedded jukebox on the site.
2) The last posted topic, upcoming show, and other such informative tidbits from the last iteration of the site will be worked in to the news page. Hopefully with a little help from the pirate ship..
3) We have discussed for awhile now some sort of photo archive that is powered by the fans - live shots, etc. Still haven't been able to figure out a great way to do this yet, but it's an idea that is floating out there. Anyone out there into that idea?
4) The new video for "Leave It All Behind" should go up sometime soon.. and by soon I mean once it's all finalized and approved and I'm told I can put it up. So probably not this week, but sometime before the end of the year (fingers crossed). The new "Leave It All Behind" video is back in production, getting some tweaks.. so it will be a few weeks for this. Once it is done and digitized for the interweb, it will be on the site.
5) New msg board colors. I don't think I need to do anything drastic here. I tried a few things the other night and it looked horrible so we're stuck with these for a minute.
