Well, after a little bit of snooping around, some emailing of some experienced friends in the ways of message boards, and a bit of patience I have converted our old forums to this new software!

It's going to have some bumps and snags along the way but I think it can work out great. This software has tons more options and (hopefully) won't kill the server.

For those of you interested in the technically geeky stuff - the old board was a cgi/perl based message board (that was probably configured slightly wrong) and this new one is MySQL/PHP powered.

Everyone's old login / passwords should still work. If you run into an error, post it in the General forum or email me (michael@yewknee.com) and I'll try and fix it as soon as possible.

Be proud Features fans that your massive amount of activity pretty much crushed the server (450 meg of RAM was being consumed by our message board out of the 512 meg available to the shared server).
