What a great show! I'm glad I decided to go afterall. I was expected a new song or two tonight, but I honestly lost track of them all. I liked about 3 of the brand new ones, and there were two that I'm hoping aren't finished. I don't remember the titles but they were basically like 6 words repeated over and over. It looks to me as if they are getting ready for the next album, and judging from tonight, it could easily be 90% new stuff.

And what about Matt's haircut... I liked it MUCH better longer, but whatever. Perhaps the gals will have a different view.

Unless they play another local show here in the next 3 or 4 weeks, this will be the last one I see for a long while.

Nice long set, just like the Murfreesboro shows of yore.

Lots of new material to digest. My favorite one was Late Night." Did you guys get names for some of the ones I didn't?

I can hear His influence on some of the parts of the new songs, and of course, I love it.

Highlight of the night for me: "God Save Rock'n'Roll" is back.

I think Matt called it "Take You On".

It's the music, not the lyrics, that matters anyway.

He definitely titled one "Wagon Wheels," so that's an official title as of now.

I love this band way too much. I swear...I say this every time but they make me so happy. All the new songs are amazing and I cannot wait to hear the second album. I love how different the new stuff sounds...it's just great. And if I ever have to hear "Leave it all Behind" followed by "Hold," I may explode with joy.

And how about WallStreet for surviving yet another Features show? During "Exhibit A" and later "Thursday," I was convinced the Features were going to really bring down the house.

"its coming on" is called "Late Night"

The last new one was "Man Rock", I believe.

I take it Wagon Wheels ( "I'll be your wagon if you'll be my wheels" ) was the "I'll be your martyr if you'll be my friend" song from last year.

I can't believe I missed all this new material. This just isn't right sad.gif

I am super-happy to hear they've got a lot of new stuff lined up for the next album. It makes me think we might be getting a sophmore effort sooner rather than later.

Were those ALL new songs ( I think I count 7) or did they do some covers?

Anyone else get a set list? I know I did! "Late Night" was a great song. It sounded very melodic, kinda like baby makin' music. I can see that song as a future single.

whoa. good show. it seemed like myself and everyone around me was, um, having a really good time. it also seemed like messageboard attendance was a little low.

don't remember much about the new songs. just that there was a lot of them. i don't think i was sold on the wagon song though.

god save r&r was never a favorite of mine, but i was really glad to hear it. maybe it's because i haven't seem them in so long, but every song just sounded extra good.

did anyone else see matt do that backwards somersault during mosis ptosis? wow!

This was a great show! It was the best I've seen of the Features in a couple of years. None of the new new songs jumped out of me, but I historically don't like them at first. I liked Matt's new hair. The jumping around was all kinds of fun. And as always, it was great seeing you all.

This was one of the best Features show I've ever seen. I had way too much fun. I don't want to have to wait to see them again.

Foundation's Cracked sounded different, but I still loved it.

I was so happy they did God Save R&R. I couldn't believe it. Awww....I want more Features. They make me so damn happy.

Oh, and I wish I could have seen the ceiling downstairs. I liked Matt's hair a lot, but I'm partial to long-haired Matt I think.

I was amazed at the amount of bowing on the ceiling from downstairs. Being that it's covered with those tin panels it was just a bouncing warp. I mean, it looked just how it feels....frightening.
