Thought you all might want to see that at a larger size than the tiny thumbnail on the front page.

I'm not sure how I feel about it. What's with the Madagascar-like semicolon off the coast?

I'm starting to think this album may actually come out!
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

hm.... i'm not so sure on it.

i really dig the covers for the ttwimtb and tamwtstb singles... wish it was along those lines.

then again, it's just the cover. maybe after seeing all of the art/hearing the whole cd i'll dig it more.

and hey, reguardless, i'm buying it and telling everyone i know to, as well!

Just looking at it, I'm pretty let down. It is, of course, cool and just plain amazing that the Features have a debut album cover, but I think that it is nowhere near the level of all the Beginning EP covers and singles. I also have to say that I prefer Matt Pelham's flyer designs, especially the last Boro one, over this.

But not to sound like a negative nilly, I know that when I see this in stores, hold it in my hands, look at all of the other aspects of the packaging, this will be one of the happiest moments of my life. So...it's mighty fine.

I think it's pretty cool myself. I was never a huge fan of the new Beginning EP art. This one has a little more edge to it. I really liked the Million Ways art-- very attention-getting. I wonder if there's a story behind this one (other than the obvious connection to Miguel).

By the way, this is only 25% of the cover art...

Oh, well now I think that the cover art is really, really cool. Man, I can't wait to see what the other 75% looks like.

I'm trying to notice something other than its similarity to a childrens' sing-a-long album.

TowerRecords.com has same picture listed as the cover art. Are you SURE that that's only 25% of it? The link is below.

i'm notoriously hard to please, but i rather like the cover. it's kind of fitting. nothing says "white people with guitars" quite like a nice colorful semi-abstract bit of cover art. er, i don't know what i mean by that. i just know i mean it...well, anyhow, i feel it's going to look damn fine sitting there amidst my record collection.

He means that what's shown here is only the FRONT cover. There is also the back cover, and the inside pages (and the spines). And he means that he has inside information.

I'm trying to stay positive nowadays, remember? So I'll just say that I'm so glad to see this cover art, because it means that the album will soon be out! I trust that the Features and the label are happy with how the artwork turned out, and I think that's all that matters at the end of the day.
Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.

Except for selling enough units to ensure that the Features will be around for a 2nd album.

I won't stare at it too long because I'm afraid it will suddenly change to a picture of a growling, demon-possessed child.

You can take a look inside my heart
You'll find a little fire
Observe the potential it displays
Notice from time to time
The flames will climb even higher
I present to you Exhibit A

Or something like that.

I'm liking it more and more. I'm starting to think there'll be several hidden meanings in the final product...

He probably does have inside information, as do I. Maybe the cover doesn't do it justice but I think once you see the whole package you will be pleased. The interior artwork is familiar but with new, great, surprises.

I can't wait for this!!

I'm afraid I'm too dumb to get any hidden meanings from the artwork so far, but I prefer it to the British single covers. Will it be the same artwork in Britain? With the volcano, it almost looks Super Furry Animals-esque.

Dude, I do NOT do scrotums. I had to once in school and it was PIERCED and OLD and totally grossed me out. Now, I just stick to the scrotum at home.

heheh...how 'bout pap smears on my best friends? Weekly? Yup, for real. Which was 1/10th as weird as the scrotums, believe me.
