You could always just add Features messageboard members to your AOL IM and talk to them that way. I already talk to a few messageboard members on there. They even have a section named, "Features Fans". Yeah, I'm a loser. I know.

You know I don't know exactly how much bandwidth it would take up. We actually do have quite a large amount of it to use but we're about to embark in some things here that'll use more and more of it. The idea of a chatroom has never really taken off and I'll propose it again, but most likely you'll have better success setting up something on your own like with Yahoo or doing the AIM idea.

Like Stephanie, I added the top 20 message board members to my buddy list in AIM. That gives me some pseudo-chat abilities. Someone could also set up a channel on IRC or something like that if they were serious about this chat stuff.
