TOPIC: Dying

So what happens to Features message board addiction when all the posting stops and fresh topics dry up?

Will the board dry up like a raisin in the sun? Will it fester and all that nasty stuff?

i thought it would get better once school started and everything was back to normal.

it's sort of a good thing for me, though. during the week with work and school and trying to sleep, i dont get to check very often. so i guess its good that there's nothing to read anyway.

True, but it's long before this message board's time. We need more Features shows and more new faces, else this little gathering will die.

i agree. there just simply isn't anything to talk about. the front page hasn't been updated since the 2nd of july and there are no random thoughts to make random comments about. i'm sure once we start getting new info on the band, there will be more to talk about (obviously) i'm kinda wondering how their london trip went, how the new album is coming, and which tracks they have/are deciding on.

the upcoming concerts will also give us something to post about... maybe

What I'd like to know.. is what everyone is doing now that they aren't spending so much time reading and posting on the message board?

People who become addicted to a message board must surely become addicted to other things just as easily.. Unless, all the rest of you are much like me.. and just keep checking the board hoping that some topic has sparked the tiniest bit of interest?

Due soley to the current state of the message board, I gave in and got a job. I am the new bitch at the Creative Artists Agency.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

I too gave in and went back to work. It's less fun than hovering over the board, hoping for Brian Eno2 to post again.

I think most people here are addicted to more than one message board, and only a few of us keep all of our loyalties here.

Since you've mentioned this, I've tried to think of new topics that have to do with puppies dogs, flowers, ice cream, or happiness. I thought of nothing.

ice cream does not fit into that catagory.

thats right. ice cream is much better than puppies and flowers. ice cream epitomizes happiness. ice cream is the opposite of death.

edit: unless death equates with something wonderful; in which case, ice cream is a synonym with death.

I'll agree that ice cream is better than flowers, but better than puppies? I don't think I can see your point. As hyper as puppies can be, they are usually much better than ice cream.

Yeah, but kitties trump them all.

What about an ice cream made with chunks of REAL puppies and kitties? Wouldn't that be the best thing ever?

I've been on 'vacation' over the past weekend in east TN where I bought the "7 Nation Army" 45...it was fun times. I also ate ice cream, so it was a happy experience. I plan on posting more since I'm in school and working again, meaning access to a computer during the day. And even though I post on 2 other message boards, this is the only one I care about darnit!

personally, i've been spending all my time reading langston hughes.

actually, i've been moving. and i still don't have my computer hooked up in my apartment. so, that's why i haven't been posting. i suppose all posting will pick up soon, what with all the new shows coming. otherwise, we'll just be forced to wonder: what happens to a dream defered?
