Sorry Peace Frog, but joining this forum for the express purpose of promoting nonFeatures stuff is not prohibited-- it's just frowned upon by many of the members.

Plus, I hear Mr. Pelham is a big JRoddy fan.

I remember this band from several Features shows anyway. One from Chat town and another from a show @ The Boro. They were very energetic and probably one of my favorite openers. They spoke very kindly of The Features both times and even stuck around in the crowd when the Features began playing at The Boro show.

Unfortunately, I hear the guy who played about 6 different instruments (and walked through the crowd with his trombone) is no longer in the band...

Well I guess I suck then... I'll take my near 1500 posts and get outta here...

FWIW, The Features are big J. Roddy fans. Go see this band. I'll prolly be there.

I'm sure they are a fine band... and I do recall the guys mentioning them. I do find it quite humrous though that Carl would have been the first jump this guy, but because they are favorites of the band they get a pass. Something tells me if this was the infamous band Nemesis, we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

Maybe why they're letting it slide now is that the FISTers, working on the Features' behalf, are doing this very thing on other bands' message boards?

hey sorry for stirring up such a fiery debate
i was not intending to be over bearing just wanted
to let people know about the show
i had posted on here before but under a different name
that i could not remember but who cares about my justifications
i hope everyone can just look past whatever and enjoy the music
because that is what being in bands and going to shows is about
right so my best to everyone

Good point JC.... like I said before, I wasn't trying to put down the band. I guess I'm just longing for the good ol' days when you'd hit refresh and if somebody posted something, it was worthwhile, or at least had a solid attempt at proper spelling and punctuation. If someone plugged something, they were almost putting their rep on the line, so you knew it was relevant.

The board is starting to accumulate a bunch of absolutely worthless posts. I guess it just goes with the territory as The Features start to pick up new fans.

Monotooth/jroddy, please accept my apology. You more or less walked into my line of fire, versus me actually seeking you out. I just hope to see you contribute to the community. Welcome!
