Anyway, The Privates (which once again features Rollum on drums) are playing this Thursday Oct. 20, at The Basement in Nashville. It is the official release show for our new EP, "Louder Than Lightning." You can hear some of the tracks on our myspace profile.

If you happened to see us in Murfreesboro the other night, come again because this time we'll be playing a longer set and also this time we're going to practice and everything. It'll also be your last chance to see us live for awhile.

Since when are shows at the Basement 18+? I thought it was 21+ across the board now.

too bad i dont live nearby or i'd go! its just a bit of a drive from northwest indiana -i'll eventually make it down to see you guys though is 'louder than lightening' available online yet? i have the first ep and i LOVE it!

It's not on Fictitious. It's self-released. I'll make it available online as soon as my computer is un-fucked.

So, does the unfucking of the computer come with a website update? Not meaning to hound you or anything...

Yes. Eventually I want to overhaul the whole thing, but as soon as I can, I'm going to do some basic updates and add a video that was made for The Mighty Ducks Are Back!

Jimmy The Lung and Junkboxx. I know nothing of either of these bands. We were added onto the bill after those bands were already booked, but we're still headlining.

I went. Probably the best I've ever seen The Privates play.

Loved the second new song, it threw me off in a good way.

And I forgot to buy the EP.

and it was great seeing so many familar faces.

The show was indeed awesome as is the new EP. It was also nice to see Rollum back behind the kit with the Privates again.
