So i have been thinking about it alot lately.I have a record label and i truely love doing it.But i am a film buff and i love documentry .I started alot of my dreams through Spongebath Records and i am itching to do a film based on the story of "a label that rises and fades away".Something that i feel has a story to tell on it's own .I plan on doing it next year or mybe xmas time .I have some people that want to help me get it made .But i know whats important .The fans have imagined something like this for years .So i can't take credit for this .But i wanna give you guys what you want as you deserve .I am going no holds barred .Rick Williams is my biggest feat to deal with.I just need all the cooperation i can get(interviews, footage, honesty, etc.)But i also want to know what you guys want from me (questions ,footage ,etc.) Also anyone that as involved dive in to help!

Let me know!

The difference is that Brock here has the actual connections to make this thing work. He can get interviews with most everyone (Rick Williams will prove challenging, however), and he has a ton of professionals backing him on this. It's going to rule, if people have a little faith in it.

I just had a great idea! You should do like the Muppet Movie and frame it such that all the Spongebath band members are at this theater screening the movie for the first time. Hilarious antics would ensue, including Rollum yelling, "Roll film! Roll film!"

Are you familiar with Les Blank? If you are, and this means anything to you I think I could probly coerce him into helping out in many ways. If you aren't then pay me no mind.

Can I play the part of Tim Nobles?
A band in Murfreesboro that I used to book called me and told me to come over right away to their practice house one day. Tim was in their band. When I got there they were standing on the lawn in shock because he stole all of their equipment, pawned it and skipped town.

Can I play myself standing on the lawn, looking shocked?

I also have a recording of of the last Self interview on WMTS where one of the band members asks Matt M. why he didn't warn them that Tim sucked and would steal all of their stuff...hilarious! It's on tape, but still usable....so much drama!

Hilarious! I wonder if he skips from local scene to local scene, pulling that scam. You know, he could be out there somewhere, with some band, setting it up right this very minute.
Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.

Why, yes! Actually, there was sort of a collective of local bands that practiced in that house - most of the band members were in several bands.

I got one of my kitties from that house...

Tim nobles....there is a guy who i wouldn't piss out if he were on fire.

I remeber when this whole scenerio went down.He disappeared and his dad basically said he was nuts.Funny side note.....My friend worked with Tim at Guitar Heaven in Nashville and i told him about it .So he went to work and made snide comments to Tim .Tim eventually quit.

He also played for friends of mine Celebrity. They said he would disappear for weeks .Noone would know where he is and he would just show up to practice out of nowhere(like nothing happened). He eventually got the axe from the band.

If you ever meet Tim stay away.Cause if you hang out with this guy for to long.It will only make you feel dumber .

Speaking of Tim, how'd he separate from Self?
