I started promoting this a month ago. Free. On the Knoll. All ages. Don't remember the times, I'm thinking the band will start 7-ish. And MTSU usually has write-ups in the Rage or Scene promoting events like this as well as films.
That's so NA.

I'm not sure if I'm reading this right, but are you complaining that we're not helpful in answering your questions before you even ask them?

For future reference, information regarding the Features and their shows can often be found in the forum entitled "The Features".

The Bang Up start at 5, so the Features will probably go on at around 6.

While I do appreciate the tone I also apologize for my poor wording. What I meant to say is that MTSU does an extremely crappy job of promoting their own events, which is why I posted that message as a way to find out when and where the show would be.

So thanks for the info and I will see you at the show

We try to not do a crappy job. We need more money for A: Better events and B: Better promotion. What are your suggestions for promotion?
That's so NA.

everything starts at 12pm and last until whenever....

12-2pm: DJ set from message board members Sexy Sadie, IWantElvis, and Digsy Slattery

2-4:30(ish)pm: DJ set from me

5-6pm: The Bang Up

6:15- whenever (more than likely 7:30 or 8ish): The Features

it will be located on the knoll outside of the KUC on campus (if it rains it will be moved inside into the KUC Theatre)

I agree 100%. I went to their website and couldn't find any info on the show for the life of me.

Sorry about the tone-- I realize I'm overly sensitive when it comes to this messageboard-- especially when someone might be implying that the management is doing a poor job of promoting the shows. I think this site/board is 1000 times better than an average band's site for information.

If I make it to the show (I'll be at Montgomery Bell State Park that afternoon), I'll try to look you up. I'm always interested in meeting Features fans.

Im sure you do work with very little money, I cant really complain about the events I mean the features are playing for Gods sake. I just think if you put up more flyers around campus that would help, maybe used the university website for a campus events page, you could probably also send mass e-mails to all of the campus e-mail accounts

just a few suggestions

If we all had the means to send out mass emailings and get more flyers out we would. It seems that it's the chairperson of the concert comittees job to get that done, and it isn't getting done.

It will all be resloved soon. Basically, someone is not doing their job. There is a special events page, but it hasn't been updated in years. The fliers got made too late (but they look good), and I'm not sure who does the mass e-mails. That's a good idea though, I can find out.
That's so NA.

When I opened my MTSU email account the other day I had about 200 mass emails about sorority and fraternity socials, so I am sure it can be done. I can't wait to finally receive a cool mass email! Wish I could come to the show. I can't think of a better first campus event.

Wrong part of campus. Find someone walking around though. They'll tell you how to get to the KUC.

So you're going to MTSU? Should I already have known that? I'm sorry...a lifetime of aspartame has begun to deteriorate my memory. But now I've switched to Diet Rite!

Anyway, congrats on the grad school news! Now we can see each other more often.

No, your diet drinks did not deteriorate your brain. I haven't talked to you since I accepted MTSU's offer. Thanks for the congrats! However, I don't think I am going there after all. I may be getting a job in Nashville or Charlotte. I am very sad about all of this, unless I get a job in Nashville.
