The Features, Westside Daredevils, and everyone's favorite anti-Features board spammers, SENRYU; oh the irony.

So if you ever wanted to know what really happened with all that bs, here's the background. FeaturesRNotSoGood was a guy named Harry (or his roommate maybe) who was indeed associated with the band. Harry was their webmaster (of the now defunct www.teamsenryu.tk) and a close friend of Seth's (the drummer) and Wil.

I know this now and don't care to tell you guys. I actually used to be in the band and quit after realizing what kind of a ship we ran. This coupled with the fact that EVERY audience we played to (that actually contained more than a handful of only our friends) came to similar conclusions as you guys. This was not the only fire, by far, that Wil had to put out after playing with a band. I'm not bitter about the band (in fact I started a new band after that "Mr. Self-Reliant" and we're doing quite well), I was just dumbstruck by the irony of them opening AGAIN after the ill reception they got last time. The Features have nothing to do with choosing the opening band here by the way... there is a lady at Blue Cats who books local bands with large artists.

I was/am a big Features fan and suggested the billing when we were offered it instead of a headlining show there. When the arguing on here started, it largely passed me by because I didn't participate in message boards much back then. I certainly don't mean to sully the board again and truly the only reason I brought it up again now is because of the repeat booking.

Interesting. Thanks for the info. I'm glad that the whole experience has made you wiser.

Do you have a famous big brother by any chance? Either way, welcome to the board!

It has certainly made me wiser in terms of the people I associate myself with professionally. I've never thought more about the Golden Rule before now.

And as for famous big brothers, I don't but a very dear friend of mine who is also in Mr. Self-Reliant has a big bro who I'm sure alot of you know.
