Top 25 Most Commonly Used Interesting Words
OK, I'll admit that the previous listing showing the 25 most commonly used words was a gyp. Was anyone shocked to learn that the words the and to were used a whole bunch of times? This listing attempts to be more interesting because it eliminates boring words. I've filtered out the articles, conjunctions, prepositions, helping verbs, etc. I've also removed some of the more mundane adverbs and adjectives (such as just, much, and very) that are frequently used in informal English. Even after filtering those words, the list is still pretty mundane. However I was pleasantly surprised to see that the words features and love ranked so highly.| Ranking | Word | # of Occurrences |
